Teacher guide

From opening your account to publishing lessons, teaching live, and withdrawing your earnings.

For teachers

1. Create your teacher account

Enter your name, email, password, username, grades, and subjects. Add a clear profile description so students know what you teach. After registration you are signed in and can use the teacher dashboard immediately. Identity verification is a separate, optional request for a verification badge.

2. Sign in and complete your profile

On later visits, sign in with your email, username, or phone number and password. Use My profile to add your photo, cover, biography, and teaching details. The dashboard contains your recorded courses, groups, live sessions, subscribers, and wallet.

3. Connect Zoom for live teaching

In My profile, connect the Zoom account you will use for teaching. Ostazak can then create the meeting and student link when you save a live session. Each scheduled group session can have its own meeting. Check the connection notice on the form before saving.

4. Create a recorded course

Open Recorded courses and choose Create. Add a clear title, grade, subject, price, description, and optional cover and preview video. Add each lesson with its video and optional PDF. Press Save to upload; you can follow the video upload progress. Publish when the course is ready for students.

5. Create a live group

Name the group and choose its grade and subject. Set the first date, weekly days, start and end times, sessions per month, student limit, and price. Saving schedules the group sessions. Keep the group active when it is ready for students to join.

6. Create a single live session

Add a title, grade, subject, date and time, duration in minutes, student limit, and price. Save to create one standalone session. When Zoom is connected, the meeting is generated for you; otherwise the form offers optional manual meeting details.

7. Understand the 15% platform share

The platform share is 15% of a paid sale and the teacher share is 85%. For example, on EGP 100, the platform receives EGP 15 and the teacher receives EGP 85. The price form shows the split before you save. Recorded-course earnings are credited after payment approval; live and group earnings become available after the related session is completed.

8. Request a withdrawal

Open Wallet to see pending earnings, completed earnings, and the amount available to withdraw. Enter an amount within the available balance and choose a mobile wallet or InstaPay destination. Submit the request and track its review and transfer in withdrawal history.
